Gladly.  Just cofirm the length you ask for is appropriate because I can't re-cut it longer : ) There are many opinions on proper cane height.  I've been told to measure between the floor and the crease in your wrist (when standing) when your arm is at rest.  Do it with your normal footwear on as well.  Is this the proper method?  I do not know.  Measure a cane that you have been using and see how it compares.  More often than not adjustable canes are not properly adjusted because they are "close enough..."  Even my 89yo mother has a few canes in the house (and car) that are four inches different.
