Here is another simple combination of new and old. The curved walking stick is a Balsam Fir staff about 61" tall. The "tooth" on top (or bottom?) is and old worn excavator bucket tooth that ha been partially mortised and through bolted. It splays off at an obscure angle as the staff does. As a walking stick the tooth adds an unexpected counterbalance which feels nice. The shaft is peeled and seasoned, so you can customize it as you desire. It weighs 2# 15ozs. and ranges from 1" to 2" in diameter
