This is a small, light unfinished birch walking stick with truncated roots. It was recently harvested so it is relatively green (not dry/seasoned). It was peeled with a drawknife so it will have to be sanded, finished, carved etc. It is about 5' tall and weighs about 1#3oz in its present condition. The tip is 7/8" and the shaft goes up to 1-1/4". The roots are about 6" in diameter from tip to tip. The are some healed nicks near on the base undoubtedly from a rodent.(suws68)
