Set of five tree branch or “crotch” hooks. These are cut from Red Maples from the Adirondacks. They have been thoroughly seasoned and sanded but they are unfinished. We recommend a sealer on all sides for the best dimensional stability. You’ll notice that some cambium has been left intact for a subtle natural charm. Depending on the shape they are ideal for clothing and hats or other purposes like jewelry, keys, paddles, wall hangers, umbrellas etc. Pyramid head black screws are included to mount them into a wood backing. If they are mounted to sheetrock or masonry other fasteners will be required.
This set is heavier than many others listed here. They are 9-10" tall and project out 4-5". The hook s themselves range from 7/8 to 1-3'8 in diameter so many coat loops probably won't fit over them. Given a suitable mounting substrate and heavy screws they would be able to support a lot of weight.
