Eberhard Faber 482 pencil promotional/educational

Sorry, this item has sold.

This is a promotional/educational set from 1958 by Eberhard Faber. It depicts the manufacturing process of the Mongol 482 through use of examples, text and an illustrated poster. The examples are taken from different stages of the manufacturing line. The poster employs a mascot named Marty the Mongol and illustrates how he goes through the various steps to make a pencil. The poster is about 22-3/8 x 17-1/2. This set comes with the original mailer that is postmarked and has the return address as well. The poster is cracked at the fold intersections but the rest of the set is in pristine condition for the age. It was originally used in a high school Industrial Arts class as a teaching aid.

I’m so happy that I purchased through this store! I got a little bit of backstory on my purchase and it made it even more especial.
