Here is a paper birch root staff that stands 71" tall and weighs 3#3ozs. This one has a simple root array and two of the roots are tight to each other with bark stuck between them. The shaft on this one varies in diameter from 1-1/4" up to 2". It is a raw material that was dug up and the bark was stripped with a drawknife which leaves the hand-hewn look as well as streaks of cambium for character. It is ready for you to transform into what you envision. (ufws390)
