Here is a nice Birch root staff with a creepy curved root. You never know what you're going to dig up. This one stands 70-1/4" tall and the staff varies in diameter from 1-1/4" up to 1-3/4". It weighs 3#9ozs. This is a raw material that was harvested and the bark was stripped with a drawknife, nothing else has been done to it. It has some slight jogs and bends in the shaft, and the drawknife blade left subtle facets and digs that give it character. (ufws382)
