Here is a birch root staff that stands 71-1/2" tall and weighs 2#8oz. It has a simple root structure and it was a dying sapling, it doesn't get more "green" than that. It was dug up and the bark was stripped with a drawknife, hence it has the hand-hewn look. It is a raw material waiting to be customized. (ufws378)
