I do knock-down staffs occasionally for my more distant clients merely to reduce the shipping cost. This will ship in a 40" box versus a 72" box. It has a six inch long lap joint with connectors included. This one is a Balsam fir that stands 71-1/2" tall and weighs just under 3#. This one has a root structure that creates a nice cradle that would probably hold a skull or a similar sized artifact. It was harvested and the bark was stripped with a drawknife, hence it is adorned with tooling marks. It is a raw material ready for your imagination. (ufws370)
