This is a birch root staff with a full array of roots and a straight shaft. It stands a half inch shy of six feet and it weighs 2#6ozs. The shaft diameter on this one varies from 1" up to 1-1/2". This is a raw material that ships in a large 6' long box by 8" square, so the shipping can be high depending on distance. It was harvested and the bark was stripped with a drawknife, hence there are tooling marks and subtle flat facets on it, as well as streaks of cambium. (ufws367)
