Here is what I consider an appropriately sized, Yellow Birch root staff. It stand 71-1/2" tall and weighs 2#15ozs. The shaft varies in diameter from 1-1/4" up to about 1-3/4" and it has a few dew claw branch nubs on it. Like most of my unfinished staffs, it was dug and the bark was stripped with a drawknife so it has subtle facets and streaks of cambium on it. This is a raw material and (like most of the others) it ships in a 6'long x 8"x8" box...so shipping can become expensive if you are far away. (ufws360)
