This is another Birch specimen with a knock-down joint in the middle so it can ship more reasonably in a 40" long box. The hardware is included for the joint,and if you want to make it permanently one piece you can use your own wood glue or epoxy on the mating surfaces as you assemble it. When assembled it stands 5'-10"tall and weighs 3#6ozs. The shaft on this one varies from 1-1/4" in diameter up to 1-3/4" with a "dog leg" about a third of the way up. This was harvested and the dry bark was stripped with a drawknife hence there are tooling flats and cambium remains on the entire staff. This is a raw material, do with it as you wish.(ufws335)
