Here is another crooked, wavy birch root staff. It stands a half-inch shy of six feet and the shaft ranges in diameter from1-1/4" up to 2". You could strap an artifact to this one, even a sphere, but it does not have a full cradle to surround it. It currently weighs 3#10ozs. It was harvested and the bark was stripped with a drawknife so it has nice flat facets and tooling marks all over. This is a raw material ready to be customized. (ufws332)
