Here is a cool birch staff that would be ideal to hang a lantern or a bird cage from. It stands 71" tall and the shaft varies in diameter from 1-1/8" up to 1-1/2". Currently it weighs 2#14ozs. It was dug up and the bark was removed with a drawknife, hence it is covered in subtle facets and some cambium streaks. Nothing else has been done to it, hence it is a raw material ready for your imagination.(ufws319)
