I think less is more with this staff. It has basically two stacked vee shapes and the symmetry is gorgeous. This birch staff stands 71" tall and the shaft ranges from 1-3/16" in diameter up to 1-3/4". It weighs 2# 12ozs and the bark was stripped with a drawknife so it has subtle facets and some inner bark left behind. It is a raw material, nothing else has been done to it. Use it as is or customize it as you envision.(ufws318)
