Here is a thick but light weight Balsam Fir root staff. It stands just shy of 6' and it weighs 2#5ozs. The shaft is covered in pin knots and it varies in diameter from 1-1/2" up to 2". The bark on this one stripped clean without a drawknife, hence there are no tooling marks. It does have a slight curve in the shaft towards the top and a few curly pigtail roots. This is a raw material that you can turn into whatever you envision. (ufws303)
