Here is a 5' tall Yellow Birch wizard staff. It is far from straight and is more like a corkscrew. It weighs about two pounds and the shaft varies in diameter from 1" to 1-1/2". It was dug and the bark was stripped with a drawknife, hence there are subtle facets and cambium left behind. This is a raw material that you can transform as you see fit. (ufws296)
