Here is a hardwood sapling that a whitetail buck rubbed his antlers on. If memory serves me it was in the birch family. It has two very small roots that connect between roots, something I don't see too often. It stands 71" tall and weighs 4# at present, The shaft ranges in diameter from 1-1/8" up to 2" and it has a slight dogleg toward the bottom. Like most of my staffs this is a raw material that has had the bark stripped by a drawknife to facilitate drying, nothing else has been done. It barely fits in a 72" x 8" x 8" box. Please note if you order two staffs I can fit them in one box for a single shipping charge.(ufws276)
