Cool, crooked Black Cherry staff. It stands 71-1/2" and the shaft ranges in diameter from 1-3/8 up to 1-3/4". The roots will barely ship in an 8x8 girth box. It has a novel root that reverses direction...probably from hitting a rock. It was harvested, the bark was sttipped with a drawknife and nothing else has been done. The drawknife left subtle facets and some cambium behind. Currently it weighs 4#12oz and it will drop more moisture weight as it dries.(ufws269)
