THIS ONE...Cool, crooked Black Cherry staff. It stands 66" and the shaft ranges in diameter from 1-3/8 up to 1-3/4". The roots will barely ship in an 8x8 girth box. It has a novel root that reverses direction...probably from hitting a rock. It was harvested, the bark was stripped with a drawknife and nothing else has been done. The drawknife left subtle facets and some cambium behind. Currently it weighs 3#13oz and it will drop more moisture weight as it dries.(ufws269) *** It has been jointed in the middle making two overlapping 37" pieces.

Couldnt recommend this seller or his products any more highly. Rick was extremely communicative and got me exactly what i wanted after answering quite a few of my questions. Shipping was as prompt as possible and the item was packed incredibly well, mounted to the bottom and shimmed/immobilized by paper at the top. He even included a drillbit for the "knockdown" screws. i'll likely incorporate it into the staff's design somehow so i'm never without it.
