This is another White Pine wizard staff. It stands 1/2" shy of six feet and weighs 2#9oz. The shaft ranges from 1" in diameter up to 2-1/2"and the roots barely fit in an 8" square girth box. As it fully dries a few splits might occur as the tension is released, it is normal as wood rounds dry fast. White pine is a light softwood that will accept stain readily. (ufws264)
