Here is a heavy, knock-down, curved staff that will ship in a 42" long 8" x 8" box. It will ship for a lot less than a 6' long box. It is American Beech with one knock down joint (hence 2 pieces) and the connector hardware is included. It is a hunched over, scarred up specimen with a large hole just below the roots as well as a few scabbed over wounds. Although it has been thoroughly seasoned it is a dense hardwood so it weighs in at 4#11ozs. The curved shaft ranges in diameter from 1" to 2-1/2" and it stands 5'-10" tall. When you assemble it you can use some wood glue or epoxy in the joint to make it one solid staff again, or you can leave it dry so you can disassemble it in the future. Like all the unfinished staffs It was dug up, the bark was stripped with a drawknife and it was put up to dry. It is a raw material ready to be customized.(ufws259)
