Alright, here is a 7' wizard staff with two knock-down joints, hence 3 pieces, with 4 barrel connectors and machine screws included to assemble it. I cut it into three equal pieces so it will fit in a 34"x8"x8" box, which greatly reduces shipping cost. You can either assemble the joints dry or you can use wood glue or epoxy to make it permanently one piece. The specie is balsam fir, so it only weighs 3#4ozs. The shaft ranges in diameter from 1-5/16" up to 2". Like most wood "rounds" this one has long splits (heart checks) from drying out and releasing the tension. This is normal "character" and it only runs to the center...it never goes through. I field a lot of complaints from people not familiar with wood movement. Like the other staffs listed, this one was dug out of the ground, the bark was stripped with a drawknife and it was put up to dry. Once dry the scarf joints were cut.
