Large wizard staff

Here is a robust Maple staff with a swept back look. It stands 71" tall and ranges from 1-1/4" to 2" in diameter. It was fresh dug 5/23 and currently weighs 4#2ozs. It will lose a lot more weight as it dries. at which time it can be sealed Unlike my typical staffs that I strip with a drawknife this one was slowly peeled with a hawk bill knife, hence there are no drawknife facets or nicks except a few on the roots. The dark patched are just some cambium that'll sand off and reveal a light wood. One of the roots was dead but still intact...it just has some visible splits in it. (ufws235)
