Here is a birch staff that stands just shy of 6'. It has a root ball that some birch develop that forms when it sends out a lot of hairy roots, one out of each node. This bark was well adhered so the pointed nodes were shaved off as it was peeled with a drawknife. When sanded and sealed they will appear a little eyes. The shaft on this staff is crooked and varies from 1-1/4" to 2" in diameter. It will ship in an 72"x8"x8" box. This is fresh as of 10/22 and it weighs 4#1ozs. It will dry out and get lighter and then you can seal it if you desire. (ufws222)
