This is a fresh cut (10/15/22) Balsam Fir staff. It stands 70-3/4" tall and the shaft varies in diameter from 1-1/2" to 2". It is a raw material, only the bark has been stripped with a drawknife so it can start the drying process. Currently it weighs 4# 8ozs., but it will probably lose at least 40% of this weight when fully dry (and ready to finish). Being a softwood it gets extremely light and easy to carry. The roots require an 8" x 8" box to ship.(ufws219)
