Here is a cane for the Canadian Freedom Convoy. Carved into the front are the diminutive arrogant PM's words that galvanized the movement. It looks a little like folk art because it was done freehand with a router on a rough stick. It is not perfect nor straight. The naturally curved stick is spruce that has been charred light brown with a flame. It has been finished with two coats of a hybrid floor finish. If you want you could highlight the words with a bright acrylic paint or even nail polish, or just leave it modest like the people. It can be cut to length but currently it is 3' tall and the diameter ranges from 1-1/4" to 1-3/8". It is a light softwood and it only weighs 1# 3 ozs, but it is plenty strong for most individuals.
