This is a Red Maple staff that just happens to resemble a thickened deer antler. It stands 75-1/2" tall and fits into an 8" x 8" x 76" box. With the large offset it would probably hang a lantern nicely as well. The shaft on this one varies in diameter from 1-1/4" to 2" with a curve on top and a small girdled scar. This one is oddly two dimensional like some of the others. It's a nice rack, complete with a curved beam and a slightly misplaced dog tine. At present, 12/7/21, it weighs four pounds and it is still pretty fresh. It'll probably shed a pound in moisture and shouldn't be sealed until such time.(ufws187)
