Another cool, thick balsam Fir staff with a curvy corkscrew tap root. It stands 70-3/4" tall and the shaft ranges from 1-1/4" to 2" in diameter. The roots on this one are somewhat two dimensional and they barely fit in an 8" square box. It was harvested and stripped two weeks ago and on 10/8/21 it weighs 3# 4ozs. It'll lose some more moisture content but being softwood it shouldn't take too long. (ufws163) Update: this is well seasoned
