This has to be cut down to ship. I had an inquiry if I could provide a tall staff suitable for hanging a reproduction LED railroad lantern above eye level. It is taller than can be shipped, hence it will have to be cut in two or three pieces and reassembled. I am thinking just a long diagonal scarf joint that you can glue and clamp, but I'll cut a butt joint if you want to try pinning it together, using a collar or knock down hardware . As of now this one stands 88-1/2" tall. It is balsam fir and the shaft varies from 1-3/4" to 2-1/2" in diameter. The shipping presumes a 9" by 9" by 72" box, but you can request shorter pieces, hence more joints and less shipping. I'll gladly requote the box length. The roots on this one are somewhat 2 dimensional, occupying a space of 12" by 3" by 15" high. The lantern hanging roots ate in the 77" range off the ground. I apologize for my cheap representation of an oil lamp, which I obviously don't provide. The staff was harvested and peeled a few days ago and on 9/22/21 it still weighs 5#12ozs. It will lose a lot of moisture weight and it shouldn't be sealed until it does.(uls1)
