This is a smaller stature birch staff that stands 71-1/2" tall. The shaft varies in diameter from 1-1/8" to 1-3/4" . The entire root mass has a lean to it, and there is a small swept back root as well as a folded over root towards the top. It was dug and stripped on 8/14/21 and a month later (for reference) it weighs 2# 15ozs. It'll be another month or two, depending on conditions, before it could be sealed.(ufws146)
