Large wizard staff

Here is another odd birch staff with a real root ball with sharp little nodes. This one was a little drier than some so there is a lot of cambium that has to be meticulously picked off if you want the clean look. Overall it stands 71" tall and the "ball" is a squat shape about 3" round and 2" tall. It has two roots that reconnect and join back into one along with a nice curved root. The shaft is light and varies from 1" to 1-1/2" in diameter. On 10/1/21 it weighs only 2# 5ozs and it was only harvested a scant week prior. It will dry out more and shouldn't be sealed until it does.(ufws158)
