Here is a nice unpretentious poplar staff to accessorize the outfit. It stands 71-1/2" tall and the shaft varies in diameter from 1-1/4" to 1-3/4". The nicely weighted roots measure 9-1/2" by 7-1/2" by 7" tall at the widest ares. The shaft has some discoloration from the first signs of decay. These areas will seal or stain more dramatically than the rest of the staff.. This staff was dug and stripped on 8/4/21, and for referrence on 8/13 it weighs 3# 1 oz. It'll lose more moisture weight and shouldn't be sealed until that occurs. (ufws119)
