Large wizard staff

Here is a poplar staff with a nice wishbone root. This poplar was on the way out. An insect larva of some sort took refuge just beneath the bark and apparently matured and left. It left an odd little track with no holes where it penetrated. This staff stands 71-1/2" tall and the shaft varies from 1-1/2" to 2-1/4" in diameter. It has a crook on the top and the roots take up a space about 9" by 7" by 4" high. This one was harvested and stripped on 8/5/21 and at the end of the month it weighs 4# 2 ozs. Being poplar it'll lose a lot more moisture weight and it shouldn't be sealed until it does. (ufws132) Update: this is well seasoned
