This is a heavy dimension Spruce staff that stands 71-1/2" tall. The shaft ranges in diameter from 1-1/2" to 2-1/2". The roots are on all sides except one. They occupy a volume of roughly 8" by 10" by 7" high. This was harvested and peeled on 4/24/21, and four days later it weighs 4#3ozs. It'll continue to lose moisture weight and should become exceptionally light and easy to carry. It was stripped with a drawknife which leaves an array of facets. You can use it as is or lightly sand it,wood-burn it, carve it etc. Just postpone the paint or sealer until it is fully seasoned.(ufws53)
